1. CoinPoker – Best Online Poker Site

- License: Curacao

- What’s on Offer: Casino, Poker, Sportsbook
- Poker Variants Available: Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha 5, Pot Limit Omaha 6

Operating since 2017, CoinPoker is one of the leading crypto poker sites out there. Our team conducted a full review of the site and found that CoinPoker truly does live up to the hype. A downloadable poker app is available for Windows, MacOS, and Android, with the lack of an iOS app being one of the few downsides of CoinPoker. Players looking to play on their iPhones can look to operators like BetOnline instead.
One of the most notable things we found about CoinPoker is its dedication to player security. Licensed by the government of Curacao, the operator goes above and beyond to ensure player safety. A decentralized RNG guarantees all cards are dealt completely randomly beyond a shadow of a doubt. Beyond that, CoinPoker guarantees all player deposits are covered, offering proof of reserves to the public.
The registration process at CoinPoker took only a minute and we were ready for action. The site allows for deposits in all major cryptos, making the deposit process very smooth. Our deposit was matched by a 150% deposit bonus, which does take some time to clear at the poker tables. As soon as our funds were available, we headed over to the poker lobby where we were welcomed to a flurry of options.
Texas Hold’em, PLO, and PLO 5/6 cash games run from the lowest of stakes ($0.01/0.02) to high-stakes ($500/1,000 and higher), with games and low and medium stakes available at all times. A variety of poker tournaments are also available, including freerolls and centrolls, as well as events across different buy-in levels (from $1 to $500).
We also tried CoinPoker on a mobile device, and the platform was highly responsive, allowed for multi-tabling, and looked sleek. Our cashout request was processed in record time, with coins reaching our wallet within minutes.
Overall speaking, CoinPoker has everything you could wish for – including an impressive selection of casino games and a dedicated online sportsbook.
With plenty of poker games to choose from, a generous welcome bonus and a variety of promos running, and very fast banking, it is the best offshore poker site for players at this time.

One of the longest-standing offshore poker operators out there, BetOnline is another solid pick for poker players. Looking to play at BetOnline, we quickly realized we needed to use a VPN to access the site, but once we activated a VPN, playing at BetOnline was a thrilling experience.
Similar to CoinPoker, BetOnline offers a variety of gaming options. From low to mid-stakes, cash games were running around the clock at Texas Hold’em and PLO tables. BetOnline also offers a few other poker variants, such as 7 Card Stud, but few players can be found at these tables. Tournament action is wild, with hundreds of players competing across all stakes, from hourly freerolls to the weekend majors ($55+ buy-ins).
The operator welcomed us with a $1,000 welcome bonus, which must be cleared over time by paying rake at the tables. Ample deposit and withdrawal options are available for their crypto betting platform, and the online poker section, with cryptos once again being the fastest and most convenient of the available payment methods.
It is worth noting that BetOnline also offers one of the best offshore sportsbooks. If you like having some sports bets to sweat while playing poker, BetOnline could be an excellent option.
BetOnline offers a strong mobile client as well. Rich with features like all-in insurance, four color deck, and various multi-tabling options, the platform is a thrill to play on both desktop and mobile devices. Both Android and iOS versions of the mobile software are available, which means anyone who owns a mobile phone can play at BetOnline.

- Year Established: 2011
- License: Curacao
- Bonus: 100% up to $500
- What’s on Offer: Casino, Poker, Sportsbook
- Poker Variants Available: Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo
- Mobile App: Yes
- Payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, LTC, other cryptos
- Customer Support: Live chat 24/7, Email: service@bovada.lv, FAQ
Another strong international online poker room that came to our attention is Bovada. As we tried different poker games and tested the site’s features, we found Bovada to be a respectable poker site with a decent range of games, valuable bonuses, and full mobile app coverage.
As soon as we signed up with Bovada, we made a deposit using Bitcoin, which was processed quickly, allowing us to jump right into the action. The downloadable Bovada app presented us with a lobby full of different poker games, with Texas Hold’em being by far the dominant game on the site. Bovada had fewer tables running than CoinPoker at the lower stakes, and cash games went up to $1/2 for the most part, with action at higher tables scarce.
On the tournament side of things, Bovada has a lot to offer. With $2 million in weekly guarantees, the site offers tournaments at all buy-in levels. Whether you are looking to play a freeroll or play with a real money deposit, you will find plenty of options. Plenty of events are available each hour in the lower buy-in bracket, with events with buy-ins over $55 found on a regular basis throughout the day.
The deposit bonus is lower than that of BetOnline, and the software offers slightly fewer customization options than the other operators on this list. Yet, tournament poker buffs can find plenty of soft action across all stakes at Bovada.

- Bonus: 150% up to $1,500
- What’s on Offer: Casino, Poker, Sportsbook
- Poker Variants Available: Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo

A part of the same Pai Wang Luo network as Bovada, Ignition is another poker site that deserves the attention of poker players. Our team of reviewers noticed that the player pool at Ignition is the same as on Bovada, as the two are a part of the same poker network.
Compared to Bovada, however, Ignition offers a welcome bonus worth 150% up to $1,500, making it a better option for players looking to play slightly higher stakes. On the tournament side of things, Ignition pays out $2,500 weekly through freerolls and offers access to the same wide range of tournaments as Bovada, all within the same poker network. The attractive mystery bounty tournament format is available at Ignition.
Texas Hold’em cash game players will be happy to hear that Ignition offers plenty of action. Stakes up to $1/2 are always available, with bigger tables running only on occasion. The mobile app is available to iOS and Android users alike, and we found the mobile experience to be highly enjoyable despite the lack of some novelty poker features in the app.
Another perk of Ignition is the fact it hosts one of the top online crypto casinos operating offshore. When taking a break from online poker, you can enjoy hundreds of popular casino games to unwind and have fun without the need to too much strategizing.
Overall speaking, Ignition may be a better option than Bovada in terms of bonuses, but is a less-known brand. On the other hand, the cash game traffic and player rewards don’t quite stack up to those offered at CoinPoker.
Ignition Bonus:
| Poker Offer | Description | Promo code | Rollover | Minimum deposit | Expiry Period | Crypto accepted? |

5. Everygame – Trustworthy and Reputable Poker Operator
- Year Established: 1996
- License: Kahnawake
- Bonus: 200% up to $1,000
- What’s on Offer: Casino, Poker, Sportsbook
- Poker Variants Available: Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo
- Mobile App: Yes
- Payment Methods: Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Paysafe, EcoPays, Bank Transfer, Bitcoin, USDT, LTC, other cryptos
- Customer Support: Live chat 24/7, Email: poker@everygame.eu, FAQ
Everygame is a poker site that’s been around since 1996 but went through a major rebranding in 2021. Part of the Horizon Poker Network, Everygame seemed like another solid online poker option, so we went ahead and conducted a full review.
Unfortunately, Everygame could not compare too favorably with the likes of CoinPoker and BetOnline. The poker platform for both desktop and mobile devices is somewhat outdated and not in tune with the modern times. The traffic on the site fades in comparison to its competitors, with fewer tables running and less action across all stakes.
While Everygame offers a decent selection of tournaments, the number of players in them is significantly lower than in those on Bovada or Ignition, but the average skill level of players is also significantly lower. . Sit-and-go action is nearly non-existent, apart from a few SNGs running now and then at the lowest stakes possible.
The positive for any players considering playing with Everygame is that it is a trustworthy site. It cut ties with its previous network when it went bankrupt and made all their players whole before moving to the new network. Playing at Everygame is safe, and the welcome bonus of $1,000 may be worth taking a shot at. However, on the overall, going with an operator like CoinPoker will be a better option for most players.
Everygame Bonus:
| Poker Offer | Description | Promo code | Rollover | Minimum deposit | Expiry Period | Crypto accepted? |

Our team focused on elements that make an online poker site player-friendly, trustworthy, and intuitive to play at. Some of the key things we looked at include:

- Mobile Gameplay: Mobile compatibility allows players to play on the go and adjust their gameplay experience to their own preferences and desires.
- Poker Games Selection: A strong selection of cash game and tournament tables across different game types, formats, and stakes.
- Withdrawal Time & Methods: A user-friendly banking department that allows transactions via many payment methods and guarantees fast cashouts.

How to Choose an Online Poker Site?
If you are on the lookout for a new online poker operator, there are many things you need to keep in mind. When choosing between different options, make sure to keep an eye out for the following:
- Your Favorite Poker Games: Play with a poker site that offers your favorite games and plenty of tables at your preferred stakes.
- Gaming License: We highly recommend only playing online poker with licensed poker operators who can guarantee a truly random RNG and a higher dose of overall security.
- Mobile Options: If you prefer playing on your mobile device, check out the operator’s mobile platform and make sure it is up to your standards before signing up and making a deposit.
- Bonus Terms & Conditions: Poker bonuses can appear juicy at first but come with steep wagering requirements. Make sure to play with bonuses that have fair terms.
- Cashout Speed: At the end of the day, you want to make sure your winnings are paid fast. Choose an operator that guarantees fast cashouts via your preferred payment method.
Common Payment Methods at Online Poker Sites
When it comes to playing online poker, money transactions can be a major obstacle. There are a number of methods players can use to deposit into offshore poker sites, but they aren’t all equally as reliable and convenient.
Here is a look at the most popular payment methods poker players can use:
- Cryptocurrencies: Fast, reliable, and without exorbitant fees, online crypto casinos and poker websites allow poker players to move their money around without any obstacles and in record times.
- Credit/Debit Cards: Cards like Visa and MasterCard may be used to deposit with online poker operators, but additional fees may apply. Additionally, your transactions may get rejected by your bank at times.
- E-Wallets: E-wallets like Skrill and PayPal can act as a middle-man between your bank and a poker operator to ensure safe and fast transactions. However, they too charge additional fees.
- Bank Transfer: While it is technically possible to make a deposit from your bank account, your wire transfer may be stopped by your bank and declined when depositing with offshore poker sites.
Out of all the options, cryptocurrencies offer the highest degree of convenience and the lowest fees. All you need is an active crypto wallet, and you will be able to make deposits and cash out your winnings at any time. Major cryptos like BTC, ETH, and USDT are all great options when it comes to playing online poker.

Popular Online Poker Games
The leading online poker operators in offer many different poker games you can choose from. Whether you enjoy playing classics like Texas Hold’em Poker, or other poker variants like Pot Limit Omaha and Six Plus Hold’em, offshore poker sites have what you are looking for.
Here is a quick look at a few of the most popular online poker variations you can play.
Texas Hold’em PokerBy far the most popular of all poker games, Texas Hold’em Poker is available at every online poker site. Played with two hole cards per player and five community cards, Texas Hold’em is a game that takes an hour to learn and a lifetime to master.
Texas Hold’em Poker is a fairly simple game. Each player is dealt two hole cards, followed by a round of betting. The first three community cards, which everyone can share, are called the flop. Another betting round ensues after the flop. Two more community cards are dealt one at a time, called turn and river. A betting round plays out after every community card, before a showdown is announced and poker hands compared.
Thanks to its popularity, Texas Hold’em is the easiest poker game to study, as there is so much free learning material out there. However, if you want to become truly proficient at this game, you will have to take it all in and master many different concepts.
To start with, we recommend playing the low-stakes Texas Hold’em games or affordable Texas Hold’em tournaments. In these, you can practice your strategies and get accustomed to game flow. Even if you have played Texas Hold’em live before, take some time to adjust to the online games before jumping to higher stakes.
Pot Limit OmahaThe younger cousin of Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha is a game whose popularity has soared in recent years. With two additional hole cards dealt to each player, PLO is an action-packed game with a lot of big bets and massive pots.
Pot Limit Omaha is similar to Texas Hold’em in many ways. Players start with four hole cards, and there are four rounds of betting in total. The flop, turn, and river are dealt the same way as in Texas Hold’em. However, each player must use exactly two hole cards and three community cards to make their five-card hand.
Unlike Texas Hold’em, Omaha is played with a pot-limit betting structure. This means you will only ever be able to bet up to the size of the pot and not more. If you are used to moving all-in the first chance you get in Texas Hold’em, PLO won’t give you that option.
Thanks to its pot limit betting structure, PLO creates a lot of interesting strategic situations in which you have to find new ways to navigate. If you are transitioning over from Texas Hold’em, we recommend taking it easy and slowly adjusting to the reality of Pot Limit Omaha. If you are completely new to poker, PLO might be a big challenge to take on, so make sure to stick to small stakes if you choose to do so.
Six Plus Hold’emOne of the newest poker games out there, Six Plus Hold’em is a variation of Texas Hold’em played with a “shorter” deck. The Six Plus Hold’em deck does not include any deuces, treys, fours, or fives, which makes making pairs and other strong hands much easier.
Six Plus Hold’em follows the same game flow as Texas Hold’em Poker. Two hole cards and five community cards are dealt in total. Players must make the best hand or be the last left in a hand to win the pot. However, there are a few extra rules to remember when playing Six Plus Hold’em.
Since the game is played with just 36 cards, the math changes quite a bit. These changes can affect even the most basic concepts, such as poker hand rankings. In Six Plus Hold’em, a flush beats a full house, as it is harder to make one. Additionally, you can make a low straight using an Ace in combination with the four lowest cards in the deck (A6789).
Instead of blinds, Six Plus Hold’em is played with antes. Each player pays an ante to play, while the dealer button pays twice the ante. This incentivizes more players to call the extra ante and try to see the flop. With hand equities running closer, the preflop decisions are less important than they would be in a game like Texas Hold’em, while postlop play is often awarded.
Limit Omaha Hi/LoAnother version of the popular Omaha poker variation, Omaha Hi/Lo introduces a new element into the game. Typically played with either limit or pot limit betting, Omaha Hi/Lo is a split pot game. In this game, one half of the pot is awarded to the best poker hand (according to regular hand rankings), and the other half to the “worst hand.”
The Lo portion of the pot is awarded to the hand that is made up of the lowest-ranked cards without any pairs. For the purposes of the Lo, A2345 is the best possible hand. Apart from this, Omaha Hi/Lo is played the same way as Pot Limit Omaha, but the strategy you should be using is significantly different.
If you are new to poker, we recommend getting some experience with games like Texas Hold’em and PLO before switching over to Omaha Hi/Lo.
Online Poker Strategy & Tips
While it may seem like a game of chance to a bystander, poker is very much a strategy game. If you are new to playing online poker, here are a few basic tips you can take away that will help you shape up your basic poker strategy:
- Cover the Basics: Before you start playing, make sure you understand the basic concepts like blinds, antes, betting rounds, and hand rankings completely. Only then will you be ready to start playing for real money.
- Bankroll Management: One of the most important things to be mindful of in poker is your bankroll. If you play games outside of your financial means, you will lose regardless of your skill level. Play within your bankroll and practice caution in moving up the stakes.
- Starting Hand Selection: New poker players usually play too many hands. If you are new to the game, you would do better to stay on the tighter side. Start out by playing only the best starting hands and adjust your starting hand range gradually as you get more comfortable with the game.
- Position is Everything: Position is critical in poker. Being the last to act after the flop can be all the difference between winning a pot and losing it. Practice positional awareness and try to play as many hands as you can in position (last to act postflop).
- Stay Aggressive: In poker, being aggressive is always preferable to being passive. Being the player who makes the best and raises is always better than calling and checking. Apply well-timed aggression and you will see the results in your bottom line.
- Learn Poker Math: Math is everywhere in poker. From counting your outs to calculating pot equity and expected value, all poker strategy is based on math. Study poker math whenever you can if you want to improve as a poker player.
